The most significant projects

The 4PMI is actively involved in various projects with academic and private partners to discover new genes and regulatory pathways involved in plant responses to environmental conditions and genetic variability. This knowledge can be valuable for plant breeding and selection.

The 4PMI is the second platform exclusively dedicated to experiments in controlled conditions and is part of the ANR Investissement pour le futur project "PHENOME-EMPHASIS" (French Phenotyping Platform Network) led by F. Tardieu and J. Legouis (2012-2020). 4PMI's participation in this project focuses on root phenotyping and associated innovations funded by Phenome.
