Objective / Protocol
Two successive experiments were conducted to assess the effects of different bacterial SynComs on:
• the performance of pea–wheat intercropping,
• drought stress resistance in pea plants.

The experiments were carried out in pots (n = 96), using soil under contrasting water regimes. The cultivation period lasted 6 weeks.
